For the Golden oil, thy word,
Day by day, I give thee my soul,
Cleanse my heart, make me whole

Time is short, therefore awake my soul,
I open my heart the Rod to understand,
I would see Canaan’s land.

The only way I feel whole,
Is to get oil from the Bowl,
If not, I will surely be slain,
Lord revive me again.

I’m so glad, I heard the call,
That is sounding now to all,
God help me to swiftly believe,
All the truths that Thou give.

I am so glad I heard the call
That’s sounding now to one and all;
This number eight I will receive.
God help me that I may believe
The truth you bring from “Sheep” and “Kine,”
And help me Loud to keep in line;
I’ll gladly fast on truths so rare,
Lest God should make my table bare;
In place of husks, I’ll “Butter” eat;
Instead of chaff, take “Honey” sweet.
