♦-1-♦
Bible numbers sent from heaven,
Teach the Word in clearness,
First and foremost, there is seven,
A number of completeness.
Then, there’s ten for universal,
Three, divine and four, earth-wide,
The Bible at our disposal,
Is by number five portrayed.

♦-2-♦
Bible symbols and equations,
Lighten up the Christian’s way,
Winds are wars, and seas are nations,
Beasts are kingdoms bearing sway.
Heads mean churches, horns civil rule,
Crowns for kings, and yet there’s more,
Only the students in God’s school,
Understand the Bible lore.

♦-3-♦
Bible prophecy is not for,
Private interpretation,
By man’s will it never did glow,
But by God’s Inspiration.
Prove now all things, test the spirits,
Cease from men, and trust the Lord,
He grants wisdom beyond limits,
Study now, hear ye the Rod.

SR1P: 37.1: That the Bible reveals its tremendous truths in divers ways — in numerics, in symbols and figures, in parables and allegories, in dreams and visions, in types and providences — is even more fully recognized in the anomalous experience of ancient Israel’s going into Egypt. In it every informed Bible student discerns, not mere happenstance, but purposive design wrought by the omnipotent hand of Providence. Indeed, Joseph himself, the principal character in the great drama, so avouches it: “God did send me before you,” he declares, “to preserve life.” Gen. 45:5.
