SECTION B: THE HARVEST

Hymn No. 31:

When the church is made pure

Origin: DSDA Zambia Division

Rod Quotation: SR2: 93.3

Tune: SDAH 38

♦-1-♦
Oh hear the Harvest news,
The first month, on the tenth day,
In His Chariot Christ comes to harvest the first fruit.
The judgment starts with Jews,
The wise meet Him right away,
While foolish virgins get the oil, ‘tis special truth.
The wise virgins sealed,
Probation is closed,
Sadly, the foolish come to find the door is shut,
What anguish! what a loss!
Get ready, bear your cross,
Hear the truth, survive the shaking, be wondered at.

♦-2-♦
When the slaughter is done,
The pure eleventh Hour church,
Receives the outpouring to push the work forward.
Ox-plow stage is begun,
The vanguard with the truth match,
Unitedly they go to reclaim the vineyard.
The pure Rod they teach,
For five months they preach,
Revival and reformation will then commence,
Ezekiel nine will crown,
This great reformation,
The vineyard is restored to greatest excellence.

♦-3-♦
When the church is made pure,
This angers the Deceiver,
He’ll bring upon the church the time of great trouble,
His plans will fail for sure,
Christ uses this to sever,
The sympathies for sin cherished by His people,
For seven whole months,
The devil torments,
Deliverance comes to the saints; their redemption,
“All aboard” the Chariot,
For saints there is comfort,
Praise God, His first fruits will then stand on mount Zion.

SR2: 93.3; Series page: SRS 88:
Since the history of the church is such, and the last section (Laodiceans) is in a worse condition, and under greater condemnation than any previous one, and as there is no time left for calling out a new movement, then a message of amazing light and stern rebuke through the Word of God, with manifestations of divine judgments, is the only remedy that can bring true conversion and reformation. Thus preparing a church to stand “without spot, wrinkle or any such thing,” of which only can be said: “And the dragon was wroth with the woman [the church as a body] and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” (Rev. 12:17.) It is the purity of the church that incurs the wrath of the dragon.
