I was on my knees with my hands raised up,
My eyes were fixed on the side of the North,
I then saw a glimmering handsome man,
The Rod message he had embosomed,
“Who could that be?” I whispered.
And my heart was dazzled!

He fixed his eyes on me with a sweet smile,
I smiled back full of expectation with elation,
His eyes were as of the doves by the rivers of waters,
His heart was full of the Shepherd’s Rod,
“Whom could he be?” I mumbled.
And my heart was dazzled!

With an excellent countenance as the cedars, he walked toward me,
My heart sank within for he was prince Love,
His mouth full of wisdom with poetic syllables,
His rainbow face glittered as the most fine gold,
“You look familiar!” I whispered.
And my heart was dazzled!

Beholding again, I saw his cheeks as sweet flowers,
In a serene talk to win the consent of my kindred,
Thus walking according to the counsel to young lovers,
The sure remedy to all marriages that are blessed,
His lips were like lilies, dropping sweet smell that is myrrhed,
You have won my heart! I mumbled.

I heard some sweet, melodious wedding songs,
“I will love you…till we enter our beautiful Eden home,”
“I will respect you…till we enter our beautiful kingdom home,”
Words flowing from our lips so sweetly,
A day so colourful, glamorous and zappy,
We sought to eat and live the Rod if we could make each other happy.

As Elijah’s message is sent to the church, it is to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers in the church, Hence, the Elijah message is to create in the family relationship a new love–not the sentimental love which drags either the children or the parents to the world rather than drawing them to God, but the true love which will win one another from the world to the Lord. The so-called love which ultimately leads either the one or the other to go wrong, is the kind to be repented of and replaced with a saving love which always leads away from rebellion and to obedience.
