Salvation’s way isn’t wide,
That’s why the Lord is my guide,
It’s in Him that I hide,
Many people His name have they defied,
In fighting His message they have tried,
Sealing is to those who have cried;
And have had self denied and crucified.
What a struggle…!
Just to achieve the goal,
And to wake up when we fall,
Having Jesus to protect my soul,
And direct my sole,
Never to err at all,
Heeding His call,
Being grateful even in the small,
Spiritually growing tall.

The Christian life is a battle and a march. But the victory to be gained is not won by human power. The field of conflict is the domain of the heart…. The old nature, born of blood and of the will of the flesh, can not inherit the kingdom of God. The hereditary tendencies, the former habits must be given up.
