POEM No. 12: Nature

By: Bro. Emmanuel Imbali (Kenya Division)

★★★★★★★★★★

Nature is God’s book,
It’s read by just taking a look,
To the blind they can feel,
For the things therein are real,
It’s scripted by the fingerprints of God,
Reading from it will never get you bored.

Nature has everything we need,
From the food we feed,
To the remedies we get healed,
And from clean water we are filled,
If in nature you wander;
You’ll behold things that will make wonder.

In it there are mysteries unfathomable,
This is just to show how God is able,
We’re admonished to go to the ant,
Despite of her size there’s nothing she can’t,
She indeed never idles,
And never has time for idols.

Heavenly things were presented to us by the Great Teacher,
This He illustrated by the things from nature,
Powerful lessons were they,
No listener dares say nay,
Let’s embrace nature and make it part of us,
Without nature life would be worse.

Satan’s aim has ever been to deface God’s handiwork,
From heaven to Eden,. This has been his work,
For it’s written that women have changed the use of that which natural,
Not just them but also the men heeded his call,
And today the same destroyer is even more subtle,
Let’s embrace nature for therein is salvation for all.

“In the study of the sciences also, we are to obtain a knowledge of the Creator. All true science is but an interpretation of the handwriting of God in the material world. Science brings from her research only fresh evidences of the wisdom and power of God. Rightly understood, both the book of nature and the written word make us acquainted with God by teaching us something of the wise and beneficent laws through which He works.
