Evil must be overcome,
Christian seek no Satan’s edicts,
Get ready, draw near thy home.
Educate thy soul to fear God,
Avoid glee, rush and discord,
Learn to keep the precious mind clear,
Get ready Thy King is near.

The Lord’s Spirit is the stronghold,
With this gift control your mind,
Christ is willing, do not withhold,
Get ready, leave sin behind.
Tenth of Abib the Lord’s coming,
Then sixteenth day the sealing,
Cleans His church on the eighteenth day,
Get ready now watch and pray.

Beloved seek to do thine best,
Thus to please our Lord, you’ll learn,
Reforming in speech, make your quest,
Get ready, for virtue yearn.
Obey God’s law to dodge the slain,
And your strife will not be vain.
For the Spirit, pray day by day,
Get ready, evade the slay.

Who makes flesh his arm and pow’r,
Cease ye from man, follow God’s plan,
Get ready in this late hour.
Humble thyself like a small child,
To Christ, your heart you should yield,
Trust His love, His Spirit and grace,
Get ready, you’ll see His face.

God’s servants shall have no time or desire for the cares of this world, for there is a city prepared for them whose builder and maker is God. As we have just enough time to get ready for translation, we must not let the enemy steal our precious moments. Because the work is so broad, its expansion so vast, and its importance so great, God has inspired modern science to invent, and build speedy equipment to quickly finish His work. “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.” (Dan. 12:4, 10.)
